Product: MARS HYDRO LED Grow Light

Hazard: The product presents a serious risk of electric shock due to poor instructions potentially allowing an installer to receive an electric shock when fitting the light.

Corrective action: Destruction of the product at the border.

The product has been identified as presenting a serious risk of electric shock as the product is not provided with adequate safety or installation instructions. The nature of the product means that if the product is being installed without proper instruction, the consumer may receive an electric shock. The product also requires improvements to markings, labelling and instructions, and did not possess a compliant plug.

The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 or the Plugs & Sockets (Safety) Regulations 1994.
